What’s Zo Wearing? December 30, 2007

We only get so many of these new years so don’t frown on resolutions, squidlings, especially if you’ve the capacity to stick to them. Find a night just for you this week and set some damn goals. You can doo eeet!

    The pics are super nice) Absolutely loved Israeli army boots! Btw – does anybody know is it possible to buy Junker Designs’ stuff online? Or do they retail somewhere in the UK?

    I also have those shoes! They’re very rarely worn here nowadays, I hunted them down for quite a while (my mum found them for me eventually).
    They’re not Israeli army boots though; they’re leisure shoes some special forces are allowed to wear when inside the base. We call them Palladiums. Presumably they are or at some point were produced by Palladium shoes. Or resembled them sufficiently. I dunno.

    Shay! Thank you much – they were described as Israeli army boots to me by the salesfolk of the shop and I’m happy to be enlightened to their true purpose now. Wonder if they know, though. Hmmm.

    I’m on my second pair, actually – the buckles, sadly, do not hold up in the canvas. Fortunately they’re fairly inexpensive.

    Excellent battle gear! Big fan of the textures, colors, and way it forms…but the hair…oh the hair…love it. Truly love it.

    Yay for the Supply Sergeant! I’ve got many things through there…I recommended the Jungle Operations Manual for those looking for some bedside reading. ;P

    These are Israeli army boots. In my day they looked slightly different. Color varies according to unit. Generally most everybody gets pitchblack, paratroopers and some special units get reds.

    They’re supposed to be worn like allstars, wear em’ till they die :)

  8. Shay Says:

    * reds

  9. Zoetica Says:

    Wow, nothing alike! I love that red, but prefer the canvas ones, if just for the tall ankle and buckled flap.

    Though I’m thinking the boys at the Supply Sergeant just meant military issue boots when they said army. That much is true, at least, hee.

  10. Shay Says:

    Yeah, they’re comfy :)

    Hey Zo, I went to the Supply Sergeant website and could not find those boots!do you know if they’re still for sale?
