Just a quick note, “My House” was previously released on The Sick City – Volume One compilation back in 2002. Otherwise, great article, very excited to hear that another album is in the works. Her lyrics stand shoulder to shoulder with the best poetry of our time.

Excellent interview.
I found her non-stance in regards to feminism interesting; I would have guessed it was something she had more of a stake in, but perhaps that’s my reflecting onto her. It bothers me there aren’t more women in the genre(s) she works in.

Anyway, thanks for this, dedicated Coilhouse staff!

I caught her on that Pigface tour. I thought that she had substantial presence, but I do recall some of the audience being sort of perplexed by this woman in a white shirt and black tie all alone with a backing track.

Glad she’s still making music.
