This is one of the most fascinating interviews I've ever read. I wish it was longer. I'm not the type of person who looks into the personal lives of musicians, but Jack Terricloth is truly incredible.

World/Inferno
A vivid account of a man and his music. Mr. Cloth strikes me as a well read individual who would not at all be effected by the current dire economical climate. An artist is an artist no matter where they might live or in what time they may exist. Generally speaking, every age is the same... there are the oppressed and the oppressors. A true artist can define that and while watching "Jack Terricloth is Alive and at Large in Gotham", I definitely felt this. Undoubtedly due to the intimate questions posed to Mr. Coth and key visual delights captured on film which illustrate the film maker's talent.

Too bad he didn't tell the story of Dwight's tennis court and the metal heads! The best was watching through the bushes at him making faces in the mirror, banging on the window to scare him into calling the cops- and we covered ourselves in leaves feet from the cop as they took our bikes from the Jewish Community Center across the street from his mansion!

Fun times as we blazed trails into a new culture that has become mainstream....fuck who doesn't have blue hair these days?

A funny memory was when we would make those calls in NYC the operators would never even call back!

Best wishes, Best of life-

Even after all these years, we're not rich kids from Bridgewater!

Well, for those of you that are curious as to what you missed...As of last Sunday, the Syndicate of Human Image Traffickers expanded its role from purveyor of cultural information to that of Salonnière, providing not only images, music and ideas but fraternity, conversation, sacred space and, of course, booze for the hungry (well, thirsty) masses. Things began on a quiet, formal note. In the parlor guests sat cross-legged and demure, drinks held with pinkies extended, as stern ancestors stared down from the walls and the finest of musical selections caressed everyone’s ears. Jack Terricloth held court in this bastion of sophistication, while the less refined gravitated towards the kitchen, lured by the bottle selection and the smoky informality. As the evening progressed, conspirators and co-conspirators continued to flow through the door, and soon all corners were taken as decadence began to waft through the rooms. Films were shown, drinks continued flow, and soon it seemed much too early to have to leave. But alas, it was Sunday, and neighbors needed sleep, and every good party needs to end. Guests consoled themselves with the promise of future gatherings, and our good host was left to clean up. The evening was, in short, the S.H.I.T.

If you wanna know more, you better show up next time!

Anyone care to post a review of yesterday's event? I was not in attendance, and so I'm curious what it was like, if anyone else performed, what songs were played and/or what stories were read, etc.

As of noon on December 13th, 5 intrepid, curious souls have registered, which leaves another 5 slots for folks who want to party with Jack, Taylor Mead, Jo Boobs and others less noted but no less noteworthy. You have until 3:00 EST today to RSVP. After that, the event begins and I won't be able to check my email. Best of luck to you, dear reader. Perhaps I'll see you (much) later. Jeff

This is an awesome interview. I love the music and the ideals. I find Jack Terricloth and the World/Inferno Friendship Society so inspiring. I saw them live not long ago as well, they are easily the best live act I've ever seen. The energy and sound was incredible and the crowd interaction and feeling of unity amongst strangers was intoxicating.
Circle those A's motherfuckers!

Thanks for your kind words, all of you. The Syndicate of Human Image Traffickers aims to deliver high quality for your chewing pleasure. (www.humansyndicate.com)

Just wondering: Does anyone have a sense of whether our dire economic climate is leading more people to live lives devoted to art or if it makes folks more desperate for whatever work they can find?

Attention World/Inferno (and Coilhouse) fans in the NYC area: Mr. Cloth will be appearing at a FREE Syndicate event on the afternoon of December 13th. This will be a rare opportunity to engage him and to witness his talents in an intimate, parlour setting. Those interested in attending must email for directions and registration: dirtytrickpony@yahoo.com
Admission will be limited to the first 10 people, so do not tarry.
