You can blame thank DJ Dead Billy for this introduction to the one-hit-weirdness that was Warning’s “Why Can the Bodies Fly“. (Germany, 1982.) Boogie music ain’t been this afflicted since a certain muppet lost his cookie at the disco.

    That’s an astonishingly accurate description Mer.
    It’s also a little bit like the bat creatures from Beastmaster raped Daft Punk, and their mutant offspring was raised by a shitty german band, and released into the wild to inflict maximum horror on the world.

    I heard this song for the first time in the German Detective tv serie Derrick.
    I loved it from the first moment, very frustrated I couldn’t get the song …no internet you know ?
