When someone like Big Freedia is out there doing Late Show With Jimmy Kimmel—her fan base is huge. Who gives a fuck [about being mainstream]? Mer, when we DJed last Thursday at SFBH, we played Wavvy and a woman ran up to the DJ booth and showed me that she had "get wavvy" written on her tights in black marker! It made me so happy!
