Okay. So…
The Bambinator‘s birthday is coming up quick! In five days, on 11/28, my beloved surrogate baby sis and Coilboss finally turns 29 years old. 28 was a crazy fucking year for Nadya. As she puts it, “a year of leveling up and unlocking all sorts of achievements”. Very true. The girl’s on fire. Although, frankly, Mister Shankly, it’s been a year of profound loss, stress, and hardship for her, too. (Not that she’s dwelling on it. But… yeah.)
One simple comfort that’s helped her battle through da poopz: listening to music.

This year, Nadya has just one birthday wish: to expand her sonic horizons. She just sent out an email asking a bunch of her friends –old and new, all of whom have an excellent taste in music– for one simple birthday present: a virtual mix tape. “Music has always been hugely important to me, and there’s something special about music bestowed upon you by friends.”
As soon as I got that email, I knew I needed to extend the invitation to our core readership. Y’all have badass taste in tunes, and we’re all friends here.
