This Pie’s So Good It Is A Crime

I think that any fan of David Lynch’s cult-classic television series Twin Peaks will agree that what the show’s legacy has really been lacking is a hip-hop tribute. Luckily, nerdcore rapper MC Chris has stepped up to the challenge, dropping an Autotuned ode to one of the most amazingly strange shows to ever appear on the magic picture box, presented here with fan-made video.

    Aww, brought a tear to my eye.

    Incidentally, I finally brought Mer home to meet the parents last night, and we had a long talk about Twink Peaks. It was so great! I’m going to send this to my parents.

    Have you seen Twin Bricks? Somehow the ending is still very disturbing and upsetting… even in LEGO:

    I’m not familiar with Twin Peaks but that line indeed made me happy. Along with how “This pie’s so good it is a crime” echoes in the chorus. It gives me such a maple syrup scented impression towards Twin Peaks.
